What we collect
Tukka stores the information you give it: your email address when you create an account, your taste profile (allergies, dietary preferences, favourite cuisines, foods you avoid, skill level, budget and servings), the recipes you like, save or write yourself, your meal plans, and your grocery lists.
How it's used
Your data is used only to run the app: filtering out recipes that clash with your allergies and dislikes, ranking suggestions, and syncing your cookbook, meal plan and grocery list across your devices when you're signed in.
Where it's stored
Data is stored securely in the app's cloud database. If you use Tukka without an account, everything stays on your device in your browser's local storage and is never uploaded.
AI features
When you use the AI Chef, the ingredients you type and your dietary preferences are sent to an AI model to write recipes. Don't include personal information in those boxes.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for anything outside the app.
Your choices
You can change or clear your preferences, saved recipes and lists at any time in the app, and sign out from your profile page. Deleting your account removes your stored profile data.
